Her vision is to have Laughter groups in all parks and gardens of Johor Bahru, a city in Malaysia. Now, there are several of such groups in Johor Bahru and she has assisted in organizing the annual World Laughter Day in Johor Bahru for 13 consecutive years, at times with more than 300 participants.

Being the Organizing Chair for the First Malaysia Laughter Yoga Conference held in 2016, she and her team garnered more than 200 delegates from 14 countries worldwide. Lee Jean also spearheaded many other national Laughter Yoga events online as well as being invited to various international platform as guest presenter in the laughter yoga arena.

Lee-Jean is also the founder of Johor Bahru Happy and Joyous Club, a Non-Governmental Organization registered with the Malaysia Registrar of Societies. This Club's main activities are Laughter Yoga, Clowning, Drum Circle and activities pertaining to happy and joyous lifestyles. Being a passionate life-long learner, she pursued further and now is an accredited trainer endorsed by the Human Resource Development Corporation, Malaysia.

One of the reasons why Lee-Jean is interested in the laughter exercise is her happy, carefree childhood. Her joyous school years at the Canossian Convent also spurred her to bring laughter back into her life. When she first ventured into the pharmacy business in 1991, it was all work and no play. She had forgotten how to laugh because she was working so hard. After getting to know Laughter Yoga in 2008, even as a pharmacist, she believes that laughter is still a good medicine as it is healthier and at no cost. Lee-Jean feels that laughter is a powerful tool we have but which is under-utilised. Every one has the right to know about this tool and how to use it to its fullest potential.

With her experience as a volunteer in suicide prevention for more than a decade, she believes that mental health is of utmost important and laughter can complement in healing and a holistic balance in life.
