Gaurav has more than 13 years of experience in managing, conducting, and mentoring Corporate Wellness Programs for different companies in the fields of: (i) Desktop Yoga (ii) Rapid Yoga (iii) Chair Yoga (iv) Meditation & Stress Management (v) Mindfulness (vi) Power Yoga (vi) Traditional Weight Management and (vii) Yogic Diet Management.

 

Yoga has been a part of his life since childhood. He had found his calling in Yoga as it helped him cope with the shock of losing his family members at a tender age. He has dedicated his life to the noble cause of Yoga. Gaurav focusses on curing others from lifestyle diseases in simple ways, which people can practice even while they are in their workplaces.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Masters in Yoga from KJ Somaiya University, Mumbai (2021-2023)
  2. Certified L3 Yoga Teacher & Evaluator by Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
  3. 900 Hours Advance Teacher Training Course - ATTC from one of most reputed Institutes of India – The Yoga Institute.
  4. Certified Yoga Alliance Teacher from The Yoga Institute, (RYT/RYS 500).
  5. Yoga Certification from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga.
  6. Two years PG diploma course in Performing Arts from Shri Ram Centre, Delhi.

 Awards and Recognitions

  1. Facilitated and conducted live yoga activities for more than 1000 participants.
  2. Performed at the National & International Theatre Festivals for over 600 audience.
  3. Won bronze medal in Judo at university level games.
  4. Awarded for flawless project work in each of the 5 years of professional contribution in the corporate world. 
  5. Multiple long-duration travels to USA involving road trips and voluntary performing arts like theatre and other creative activities.

Gaurav has conducted corporate Yoga sessions and workshops for several companies like Tata, Mercedes, L&T, PWC, CGI, ICICI, SBI, Birla soft, JSW, Reliance, Cipla, Bajaj, HCL, Intas Pharmaceutical, Volante, RBI, KPMG, Mumbai University, and others.

 

Breathing is the key to a healthy life. According to Gaurav, one must direct one’s attention within oneself to gain control. Yoga, with consistent practice, helps in channelizing emotions for tackling physical, mental, and social issues.

 Besides Yoga, he is a theatre and cinema actor with participation in National and International theatre festivals. Gaurav has also been a part of many promotional videos for the Yoga Institute. His multi-skills are reflected through his accomplishments as a Judo player and as an athlete, where he has participated as a marathon runner in 75 km competition. His multifarious interests & skills extend to cycling, jogging, dancing, travelling and entrenchment to value creation.
