I was born in Germany in the last century. At the age of 5 I decided to become a physician. Being a physician I realized that the restoring of health interests me far more than pharmaceutical medicine. So I got trained in several alternative methods.

And then on a rainy day in 2002 in Hamburg, when I wanted to buy a funny book, I discovered Laughteryoga. 2 months later I already was a certified LY leader, still being unaware of how much the 2 day course would change my life …

A few years before I had moved to Israel and so I started to tell everybody here about the amazing activity called LY.

Today, in 2012 we have a flourishing community of LY leaders in Israel and about 70 Laughteryoga clubs with regular activity.

I am most happy when I see in a LY session how people from different backgrounds mingle in a most natural way and have fun together: young and old, fair and dark skinned, religious and non religious, women and men, Jews, Muslims, Christians and others …. – this way Dr. Kataria’s vision of peace through LY becomes reality.
