Dr. Ursula L. Kirchner, Ph.D., was born in Germany and since 2004 migrated to Brasil._x000D_

PhD., DMD, Medical Dentistry (J.v. Liebig University and Free University Berlin) MNS; Master of Nutrition Science (Cornell University -USA and J.v. Liebig University -Germany) . Her PhD in Medical Dentistry was earned in 1978 at the Free University Berlin, Germany. From 1978 to 2004 she worked as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Fulltime Professor at the

Berlin (Department of Cariology and Department Restorative Oral Health). At the
Technical
University of
Berlin she lectured at the Department of Public Health. She also worked at Department of Public Health for the Berlin City Administration. She owned a private Holistic Health Clinic in Berlin, where he resided until she emigrated to Brasil._x000D_
She worked as a Visiting Research Professor (1987) at the University São Paulo; Visiting Professor (1988-2002) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais._x000D_
She is Member of the German National Merit Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes), Member of the Humboldt Foundation (Feodor Lynen Research Fellow), and Member of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)._x000D_
During 5 years she was the Director of a Holistic Health Institute (ISIS) and a private Holistic Dental Clinic in Belo Horizonte._x000D_
After suffering a serious accident and being bound to a wheelchair, she retired from her University (Professor Emeritus since 2004) and Clinical activities to fully dedicate her time to teach and promote Hatha Yoga, Hasya Yoga and Meditation. She recommends Yoga, Meditation and mirthful laughter as an innovative strategy for healing the body, mind and spirit. She personally experienced the transitory nature of body and mind, and the healing power of alternative healing techniques which she applied on herself to overcome her suffering, opening the door to a quick recovery._x000D_
The direct outcome of these personal experiences and her continuous search for inner peace and happiness for long years resulting in the successful achievement of these goals gave her the need to share with others._x000D_
